First of all Jana Omová, course planner of the first stage. What did she prepare for you?

The area I got has four different parts. In the beginning quite easy plateau bordered with cliffs, steep slopes and deep valleys. It's harder physically than orienteering, but we have to go through and you will need very strong legs to became the best. Running part in newly mapped part of Skaláček area and some rocky challenge at the end for gourmets. It will be the opening middle distance on Saturday morning.
I wish you pleasant running in beautiful forest and enjoy all the beauties of canyons in Skaláček area. And believe me or not, it's not possible without some climb.. ;)

And how Daniel Wolf see the area of Bora rocks for "sprint"?

In the second stage you can expect a noticeable change of terrain and type of running. Beautiful area of Bora rocks near Rovensko pod Troskami is ideal for rocky forest "sprint", which has its place in the program of Nice Holidays event already for many years. You are going to dance through narrow passages of the rocky labyrinth which seems like narrow streets of ancient city, you pass romantic little lakes under huge cliffs, you climb a bit and than you are going to enjoy the speed on very fast plateau bordered with huge rocks with magnificent view to Trosky castle or Kozákov mountain. Most of you will enjoy Bora area longer than regular sprint distance winning time, but it's not any championship and we have a holiday! Nice Holidays!
So good luck and have fun!

And if the final long is really that long tells you Martin Vlček.

On Sunday is waiting a demanding test of orienteering and physical skills for all competitors. In the beginning are most of the courses formed by longer legs with several route choices, the longest categories are going to visit wild canyon of upper Čertoryje. Than you are going to run through playful slope down to refreshment point before the final "middle part" arround newly mapped hill near Rokytnice. I hope that running the last part of the long distance and of the whole Nice Holidays event will be the pure excitement for all orienteerers. You can evaluate it next weekend!

The team of course planners is looking forward to seeing you in Rovensko!
